This course is designed to give students a broad understanding of the New Testament books of the Bible and the cultural context in which they were written. Important topics such as authorship, original audience, setting/date, key features, content and structure are examined for each book, with special attention being paid to the Gospel, epistolary, and apocalyptic genres. Each lesson concludes with suggested applications for Apostolic doctrine and life.
